Chosen Charity for our Christmas Offering
The Ashford Winter Shelter has been running for a number of years offering vital shelter to those without homes during the harshest season.
Working closely with the local council and charities, they provide a night's accommodation, food, access to local agencies for support and a safe place to sleep throughout December to March.
A number from Gateway have completed the training, including first aid, and will be volunteering at various churches to help provide the service.
At both carol services we will be offering the opportunity for all those attending to give money to the Ashford Winter Shelter.
Social action is an amazing witness to the love Jesus came to share. Please pray for all those involved, for gospel conversations and life transformation.
